We are a family owned in-home boarding and daycare center located in Frederick, MD. Think of us as your dog’s home away from home.
Hi there, I’m Kelly Cox.
I have been a nurse for 30 years, but in 2017 I started Muddy Paws to turn my love for dogs into a way to help pay for my three sons’ college tuitions. It began with just friends and family, but slowly grew into the business it is today.
I now watch dogs of all sizes, breeds, and backgrounds, with the hope of giving them lots of love while they are away from their families.

Our Services
We offer home boarding and daycare with pick up and drop off times from 6:30AM – 9:30AM and 3:00PM – 5:30PM. Just a few things to note…

All dogs must have proof of rabies and bordetella. We also strongly encourage flea and tick prevention of some kind.

All dogs must be socialized and dog friendly.

Along with your dog, please bring your dog’s food. We will provide everything else needed during their stay.

Our yard has dog baby pools and a trampoline for their entertainment (and ours too)!
